The top one seems more dapper and mysterious, hence more "you". Kinda like Maurice Sendak's "In the Night Kitchen" meets "Chicago"'s Billy Flynn. I like!
This comment doesn't necessarily have anything to do with this particular post, but I just wanted to say that your entries are very inspiring. Your graciousness and generosity of spirit, which come through in your manner of writing, are just some of the intangibles that set you apart. And for what it's worth, not once did we doubt that you are capable (more than capable, I might add) of creating fashion.
Haha! I know who did that first one! God Elouai Candybar Doll maker is crack. Have you been to the website? So many choices and so many wacky choices. Good fun when you are bored to tears or need a mindless distraction.
They had a meme going around on LJ where your friends would post their dolls of you and how they saw you. Rather interesting actually.
Those are awesome! I'm not really into anime, but my friends are trying and I must admit that I'm starting to like it. It helps that Cowboy Bebop reminds me of my beloved Firefly...
I'm not an anime fan, but I used to spend hours on the eLouai Candybar doll maker creating dolls of all my friends, favorite artists, and myself. My friends did the LJ meme and my dolls all looked different, the first one looks a lot like you though.
Very cute. I hope that your having a good weekend Malan. I can't wait to hear all about fashion week and how that went! Sending you a big cyber hug ((((HUGS))))
when is fashion week? is it possible to buy tickets? I would looooove to see your show Malan, and I would buy tickets if I could! I love all your designs (especially the fall 2006 collection) :)
I love anime, too. I'd love to talk to you about it sometime. Especially since you're asian, know more about it. It's andie_yasha, I changed my email: sora-94@hotmail.com anxiously awaiting a reply, andie
Oh! I love anime as well. I'm not a huge fan of the cartoons, just the art. It's so funny...so Japanese...so 'kawaii' (Japanese for 'cute'; it's a religion there).
I like the 2nd one (with the hat) the best. The first one reminds me too much of one of the Gotti boys (it's the hair!!!). All it's missing is some bling!
Oh jeez, you actually saw those? Ha ha, it's really nice to know you give a crap about these silly fan things.
If I were going to put you in an anime you'd so go in Paradise Kiss. I personally wasn't fond of the characters because they were all so into "beautiful tragedy" and constantly depressed, but I think you'd fit in with all the sophistocated glamour (and obviously not the perpetual depression).

Quite interesting.
I agree with the person who commented before me that the first one is more "you."
I agree with the above, haha, I definitely think the first one is more "you." But they're both cute. :]
Hah, that's so cute! I think the first one looks more like you, but I love the hat on the first one :D I love anime characters too!!!
<3~Ava
XD whoops. I meant I like that hat on the second one :)
Haha I love those! I think the first one looks more like you, except for the hair.
I agree the first one does you more justice. Its more fashion foward and mysterious. But they both are very cute, just like you.

You'd be a pretty sweet anime character. You'd look pretty sweet in Cowboy Bebop! stay fabulous
