Wednesday, for no real reason has always been my favourite day of the week, I think because its purely a moment where you can see what has been accomplished and what needs to be done by Friday, that being said, my darlings, this seasons show Is going to so beautiful, I was going over sketches today and fabrics etc. Every single one of these pieces are so full of light and colour, it is going to be the best collection I have ever shown, and get excited because I am going to give you something that will change your formal wardrobe forever, something so beautiful elegant and sexy , but something you would never imagine wearing to a formal event. Wait to be surprised it will be worth it...

I have heard so many inspiring stories today from teachers, students , mothers, sons, daughters, artists, musicians, vintners, etc. I think everyone from all walks of life should feel a part of this, because if it were not for all of us there would be nothing to aspire to nothing new to discover. I remember reading about a dinner party dali went to where there were artists and people of all walks of life and the conversation flowed for hours and everyone learned something more about themself through another persons eyes. That is what life should be, there should be no judgement because we are all trying to accomplish something greater then we dreamed yesterday. If I were a fisherman or a chemist or a rubbish collector I would still find interest in everyones life. Never judge by what you see on the outside because inside the filling could be quite lovely! Goodnight and sweet dreams, maybe in the morning you will wake and find yourself one step closer to what you dream tonight, but dont give up trying...

For some reason whenever I invision you working I hear Roxy Music's Avalon.
You are inspirational...I am glad to have become acquainted with your work through PR, but certainly that moment in your life does not define who you are.
The dress is gorgeous, thank you for sharing. As a violinist, I believe that the most beautiful art comes from those who are beautiful within...truly this is you.
Best Wishes

Aww I love your outlook on life, its really inspiring. I myself at times am a negative person in regards to my own life and you sound so positive. That's an amazing quality, I hope you never lose it. You seem really down to earth and like you're a sweet person, that's hard to find, don't let fame or anything else change you. Best of luck with your collection, I am sure it will be amazing. Its great to see someone who not only appreciates beauty on the inside but has the capability to bring it to the outside in a way for everyone to admire.

Good luck in all that you do.

You have spoken the words of a true gentelman once again. The best of luck to you. You have people behind you 100% and its nice to see that you are just as supportive of your fans as they are of you, thats a rare trait.

Thank you for showing us one of your dresses, I really enjoyed it. It will be exciting to see your whole collection when it is done.

You seem to be a very optimistic and positive person, and that is very inspirational. It's just that we live in such a negative world that it is nice every once in a while to find someone that never gives up on his dreams and encourages others to do the same. Never change who you are.

Oh wow, the dress looks absolutely stunning. If I ever get the money together I would love to own one of your designs as they have this amazing classical yet sexy feel to them. Fashion is such a beautiful thing as it can change the way a person feels about their apperance or give them a very diffrent attitude while in the garment.
You're such a darling person to listen to everyones stories and wish us all good luck. May all your dreams come true Malan, you deserve the very best of this world.

wow that dress is pretty amazing. i love how the ensemble is heaviest at the bottom, the thickness there really contrasts fantastically with the thinness everywhere else. its really quite brilliant as well how the whole construction moves your eyes from top to bottom. its like, you don't even have to think about checking her out because the lines of the dress do it for you. hah, well i'm sure this wasn't your objective.

anyway, hi. i'm jessica. i'm a student. i like physics and math, its what i spend most of my time doing. this is both a good and bad thing. i'm also glad you have a blog, i was sad when you left PR. and additionally, there's a bug crawling on my computer screen at the moment.

also, i would like to point out that i own the same glass witch ball hanging from that window, as well as the stained glass piece under it. which is particularly weird as my aunt hand made that piece for me a couple of years ago. very odd.

I was very much anticipating your entry for Wednesday. Was filled with such sadness for me again, my seventeenth birthday. It's a repeat of last year, hours of crying and being depressed because no one really seems to care. It's a horrible feeling. The thing that keeps me strong is my passion, dream which is veganism/animal rights/ aspiring to work w/ the largest animal rights organization in the world (PETA). I have to stay strong for the animals, because they are counting on me. I have no "personal" support here really, I've been mocked, ridiculed by my father, etc. but I have to overcome those obstacles, I can't let those people hold me back, and I am strong. I am always looking towards the future, when I can escape here and be like you said, one step closer, that's what gives me hope.

You have such a wise, positive outlook on life, those that express that also give me hope, and those that inspire us to believe (ie. "Criss Angel"), I admire those with that quality.

Wednesday is my favorite day of the week too. I probably enjoy Wednesday so much because my favorite book as a child was Dr. Seuss's "Wacky Wednesday."

Simply gorg-eous gown.

Wednesday has always been my favorite day. Good things happen then, I believe...there is a certain brightness unlike most weekdays. In my case, at least. Ah, I have always loved them.

The silhouette of that dress is gorgeous. You create such beautiful things! Truly, you are an artist, and I am so glad you let us see your creations.

I was ready to coin you the "villain" at the beginning of the show; after I saw your graciousness and dignity I was humbled. I am shocked you had to leave before the true glory of your talent could shine through, but the world will see more of you, I am looking forward to it. I would adore to wear one of your creations one day; I would feel like a fairy-tale princess! Good luck and best wishes for the future. Slainte!

Malan. I'm working on a letter to write for you, I simply need to write it before I can post it here, sometimes it's hard forming my thoughts into words.

That dress is stunning!

I'll try to contribute more to the discourse in future, but right now, I'm about to get kicked out of a computer lab at school. I suppose they'd like to be able to close up around here sometime.

Darling Malan,

It's far too complicated to get to you, my sweet. I don't understand all this computer claptrap.

Nonetheless, I adore you and want you near me, for some odd reason. Only to chat, share good times, enjoy our lives.

Hey Malan! I'm Laura and I absolutely adore you. I suppose its more of a deep admiration. Either way, you are incredibly inspirational. You remind me of one of my best friends, Vyvy. i mean, its just scary how similar you guys are. After I ask her, i'll link you to her blog. She is currently in New York as well, changing the world one person at a time. (We're from California).

Anyways. A random thought. If you ever made an Irish Dance dress, I know it would be the most awesome thing EVER. (I'm an Irish Dancer). Right now, they are tasteless(fur, feathers, glitter etc.), and have no shape to them whatsoever. If only you could bring your sexy, beautiful element to them.
